What is Supper 6 +2?
Supper 6 + 2 is an adult ministry with a mission to connect new and long-time Countrysiders.
How does Supper 6 +2 work?
- Each group will have 5-6 adults. Sign up here by May 29th. You will be contacted once all the sign ups are in and the groups are created.
- The groups will meet three times together — once per month in June, July and August. Your group will decide when, where and how long to meet.
- The idea is for each couple or single adult to host one time. When you are the host, you can choose if you want to invite the "+2" — 1 or 2 additional adults. This could be a couple who recently began visiting Countryside, or perhaps your neighbors, or other Countrysiders you want to help to get acquainted with others.
Each +2 couple joins the group for one meal, and then the next host can invite a different +2 couple. Of course any Countrysiders are welcome to sign up and participate in the next 3-month series. - The group decides if they want to meet each time in a home or at a park or restaurant -- whatever fits the group.
- After each three-month session, your commitment is over. You can choose whether or not to sign up for a new group for the next session — whatever works with your schedule.
Who is Supper 6 +2 for?
Any adult with a desire to get to know others at Countryside, member or non-member.
When is the next session?
The next 3-month session is this summer: June, July and August. Please register by May 29th to participate in this session. Dates for future sessions will be announced on this web page.
Is childcare provided?
Childcare is not provided. When you register, you can choose if you want to participate in a group where children (6th grace and under) accompany their parents. Each group will choose how to handle the children.
How can I serve in Supper 6 +2?
Sign up to be the "point person" for your group. The point person is responsible just to get your group rolling — you will call the rest of your group to plan the first fellowship meal and then coordinate who is hosting for the other two meals.
Also, as point person you will receive suggestions for "ice-breakers" and conversation starters, etc. Just check the box when you register here!
