AWANA
AWANA
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
Awana is our Sunday evening children’s ministry during the school year, dedicated to sharing the gospel and love of Christ with children and training them to serve Him. Particular emphasis is placed on Scripture memorization. We have clubs provided for three year olds through twelfth grade meeting during the school year. Our Awana clubs are a special place to make new friends, play exciting games, sing to the Lord, and have fun learning and memorizing God’s Word.

Each club meeting is divided into three segments:
Handbook Time
During this segment, clubbers meet in small groups with their leader to review Bible memorization and drills from their handbook which they have worked on during the previous week. Clubbers are encouraged to make progress in their handbooks and should complete 1-2 sections per week. Parents contribute greatly to this by encouraging and assisting their clubber during the week in their preparation.
Council Time
During this segment, clubbers meet in a large group for singing and an age-appropriate presentation from the Word of God.
Game Time
During this segment, clubbers participate in a variety of games together.
Our Awana ministry is divided into six clubs:
